The Roman Gladiator tournament was
a very dangerous sport back in the days
of the Ancient Romans.
They had very challenging
battles against fierce animals and sometimes
they had to face each other.
It was so challenging more
than half a million Roman soldiers and
more than a million animals died over the
course of 450 years.
The tournament was always held in the
Colosseum in Rome Italy because the
Colosseum could hold over 50,00
people in it that’s why it was always held there.

The Roman Gladiator tournament didn’t
just do soldier vs soldier they even let the fierce
animals join the fun.
People loved it when they fought but
the competitors did not,
so did the Animals it was just straight up
TORTURE.
The animals had like a
cage underground in the stadium
and when they had to fight their was
kind of an elevator thingy that allowed
the animals to walk out and fight their competitor.

As the Gladiator grew it ended the
6th century A.D right now it is a
place for tourists to visit in Italy.
It's become so famous it made
Italy one of the best tourist attractions
in the world. Many people love going to
the Colosseum because it’s full of history and battle.
qIt's actually one of my favourite landmarks in Italy.

You might have known a country in
Europe shaped like a high heel
kicking a ball well that country is called Italy.
Italy is one of the most Historical countries
in Europe because of its great history
of roman soldiers marching across
the middle east to fight in war.
Italy can be full of culture but they
can also be full of war they have been
fighting in other countries since the days of the bible.

Italy’s culture has been spread
out to the world they are the ones
who actually discovered pizza
and you know how much everyone loves pizza.
Pizza is not just what Italy has made
and They’ve made all kinds of foods
like lasagna, splendid Tiramisu and
Spaghetti Bolognese and some other
delicious foods.
When Italy came up with these
kinds of they shared with the World
[they can be a very kind country too]
and that’s really how domino’s
and pizza hut can be in Glen Innes.

As Italy will continue
to be very creative in their culture and history
they will still remember the ones
who passed and gave their life
in the war which they would’ve
done if they were still alive.
The history will lie in good hands
of Italy and will never be forgotten.

The Giant Pacific Octopus is the largest,
strongest and smartest of all the others.
It can camouflage itself like anything else,
It’s tentacles will wrap you up like dinner so try and face
you’ll never beat it.

The Giant Pacific Octopus is located in the North and
South Pacific ocean. That is near the United States,
Alaska and Japan. The female octopus lays its eggs
in the cave and look after it for when the young hatch,
after the eggs hatch the mother sadly dies.
